Professional virtual office packages with business address, mail handling, and meeting room access in Dubai.
A virtual office provides the administrative infrastructure of a physical office — business address, mail handling, telephone answering, and meeting room access — without the cost and commitment of a dedicated office lease. For businesses that operate remotely or have limited physical presence requirements in the UAE, a virtual office offers a cost-effective solution that maintains professional standards.
Virtual office arrangements are particularly valuable for international businesses establishing an initial UAE presence, freelancers and consultants who work from home or client sites, holding companies and SPVs that require a business address but no operational space, and businesses evaluating the UAE market before committing to a full office setup.

No. The UAE Government portal states that all businesses in the UAE must have a physical address to operate, that an office or warehouse rental agreement must be provided for a mainland licence and that in Dubai the agreement must be registered with Ejari. DMCC's own guidance puts it bluntly: virtual offices are not allowed for mainland companies. A virtual office therefore works as a correspondence and client-facing address alongside the licensed premises, not instead of them. If you need a licensed address without a conventional lease, the compliant route is a free zone licence with a flexi desk, which we arrange in the zones where we are registered agent.

Yes, within the zone that issues it. Meydan Free Zone includes a flexi desk with every licence and states that it meets the legal workspace requirement without needing a physical office. RAKEZ says it is mandatory to lease a facility to open a company, and its smallest facility is a shared workstation. IFZA has removed mandatory office space for basic licence packages altogether. In each case the flexi desk is leased from the free zone authority itself, which is what distinguishes it from a private virtual-office subscription. We pair the business address and mail handling on this page with whichever free zone facility your licence requires.

Very few. Visa quotas follow the facility, and the UAE Government portal notes that the number of visas a business can obtain depends on the package it has signed up for. RAKEZ limits flexi desks to one visa, so downgrading from an office to a shared workstation cuts the quota. DMCC's flexi-desk terms allow a standard flexi desk three visas with four hours of use a week, and its special flexi desk one visa. A private virtual-office subscription that is not a facility leased from the licensing authority carries no visa quota of its own. If you plan to sponsor staff, we size the facility to the headcount before the licence is issued.

For a mainland licence, yes. The UAE Government portal lists a registered lease among the steps for a mainland company: the rental agreement must be provided, in Dubai it must be registered with Ejari, and a copy of the lease contract attested by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency is among the documents collected with the licence. Free zone companies do not go through Ejari; their lease is with the free zone authority, and packages such as Meydan's include the flexi-desk lease agreement with the licence. We prepare the lease documentation that the relevant authority expects, so the licence or renewal is not held up by the premises file.

Not on its own. Cabinet Decision No. 100 of 2023 requires a Qualifying Free Zone Person to undertake its core income-generating activities in a free zone or Designated Zone, with adequate assets, an adequate number of qualified full-time employees and adequate operating expenditure for each activity, and the Federal Tax Authority lists adequate substance in a free zone as a condition of the 0% rate. A mailbox and telephone answering do not create substance. A flexi desk can be sufficient for a small business whose work is genuinely done from the zone, but the test is about activity, people and spending, not the address. We review substance before you rely on the 0% rate.

No. An address is not a licence, and a free zone licence does not by itself authorise business in the mainland; DMCC describes a local distributor or agent as the established route for mainland sales. Since Executive Council Resolution No. (11) of 2025, issued on 3 March 2025, a free zone establishment can instead ask Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism for a licence to open a branch in the emirate, valid for one year and renewable, or a permit to carry out specific activities, keeping separate financial records for the mainland work. Your virtual office can serve as the correspondence address for that branch or permit, but the authorisation must exist first. We handle the DET application alongside the free zone licence.

Yes, and it must. Free zones such as IFZA confirm that no physical presence is required during incorporation and that the process is completed online with e-signatures, yet the UAE Government portal is equally clear that all businesses in the UAE must have a physical address to operate. The two fit together: the company's licensed address is the flexi desk or office leased from the free zone, and the virtual-office services on this page add a staffed Dubai correspondence address, mail handling and meeting rooms for a business whose owners live abroad. We register the company remotely, secure the free zone facility and run the Dubai address so that post, notices and bank correspondence reach you.
